Early Morning Pick-Up

Your guide will collect you directly from your hotel or lodge in Victoria Falls before sunrise. Early departures are essential for maximizing wildlife sightings and enjoying the cool morning atmosphere.

During the short drive to Zambezi National Park, your guide will provide an overview of the safari experience and what to expect during the morning.

Entering the Park

Upon entering the park, the safari begins immediately as wildlife activity is often highest during the first few hours after sunrise.

You may encounter:

• Elephant herds crossing the road
• Buffalo grazing in open grasslands
• Zebras and giraffes feeding in the morning light
• Various antelope species including kudu and impala

Predator sightings are possible, particularly lions returning from nighttime hunting activities.

Exploring the Chamabondo Area

The safari continues deeper into the Chamabondo section, where open terrain allows excellent visibility across the landscape.

Your guide will stop regularly for:

Scenic Riverine Drive

Depending on wildlife movement and time, your safari may continue toward the riverfront areas of the park along the Zambezi River.
